of baltimore on 95, the bw parkway out of laurel and route 32 and 29 out of columbia. and one more last live look, this time over at the bay bridge. a lot of people will be coming home this afternoon. it will look a lot different then. we'll be back at 5:39. >> thank you, monika. >>> howard mentioned the remnants of hurricane isaac are kicking up storms in and arp the washington area. >> in louisiana about 200,000 people are still without power. despite the instruction, the memorial church held services on sunday. flood waters caused the church doors to swell up to the point where members could barely open them and everything inside was ruined. but this church hasn't missed a sunday service in 19 years and the congregation wouldn't let isaac stop them. >> y building is gone but faith is still in god. my faith wasn't in this building. >> it's not just the church building. isaac destroyed the homes of more than half of this congregation. members have piled up their ruined possessions on the curb for trash collectors. many roadways remain under water as well as the local high school school. >>
into baltimore and north up 83. then a lot of shower activity to the north and east. what will happen today is the focal point for most of the showers will be off to our north and east. can see the heavy rain into southern pennsylvania and central new jersey. i don't think we'll be the main feature -- our main feature won't be showers and thunderstorms. but we will be locked in the cloud cover. the ever-present possibility of that showers and storms could develop at any point in a very unstaicial atmosphere. you have to be ready for that potential later today. a warm front fridaying to work through here will bring rain not only to the washington area but to much of the eastern seaboard here for another couple of days and then finally, finally, we'll kick this whole very wet air mass out of here as we get into the end of the week. showers and storms likely again today. not going to rain all day but they could pop up at any point. temperatures get close to 90 by wednesday and thursday. we'll gradually dry out and by friday, things should freely pretty good around here with sunshine, less humi
